Tough Loss at Randall’s Island, But FC Kraja Ready to Respond

FC Kraja suffered a tough 2-0 loss to Riverside Squires on Sunday at Randall’s Island, but the final score doesn't tell the full story of the match.

For the second week in a row, the rain came down hard, making for another difficult and slippery afternoon of football. Kraja still managed to create plenty of opportunities and consistently found ways into dangerous areas, but this was one of those matches where the final touch just wouldn't come.

Credit to the Riverside goalkeeper, who put together an excellent performance and made several big saves when Kraja looked ready to break through.

And with another downpour came another important performance from the sidelines: Coach Safet's tent! After proving its worth last week, the tent once again came through for the squad and is quickly becoming an unofficial member of FC Kraja. At this rate, it might deserve its own jersey number.

Now the attention turns to a BIG match this Sunday as Kraja looks to get back to winning ways.
