FC Kraja Opens the Season with a 3–1 Victory
FC Kraja kicked off the season in style with an impressive 3–1 win over Central Park Rangers Lower East III at Randalls Island – Field 91. Under beautiful weather and great playing conditions, the team delivered a strong performance from start to finish, showing the chemistry and determination that has been building throughout the preseason.
The breakthrough came from Amel Perovic, who rose to meet a perfectly delivered corner from Ardin Cobovic, putting FC Kraja on the scoreboard. Shortly after, Ardin Cobovic added another goal of his own, skillfully going around the goalkeeper after a great assist from Brendon Smajli. As the match neared its end, Brendon Smajli sealed the victory with a last-minute goal just before the final whistle, securing the 3–1 result and a memorable first win of the season.
With momentum on their side, FC Kraja now looks ahead to the next challenge. The team will face FC Hudson United on Sunday, March 15 at 12:00 PM at Randalls Island – Field 83 as they aim to build on a strong start to the campaign.
