Second Game, Second Win for FC Kraja

FC Kraja continued their strong start to the season with a 2–1 victory over FC Hudson United on Sunday afternoon at Randall’s Island – Field 83. The match kicked off at noon under brisk early-spring conditions, with temperatures around 43°F (6°C) and a cool breeze coming off the water.

From the opening whistle, the match featured two contrasting styles. FC Hudson United relied on speed and quick transitions, looking to break forward rapidly whenever they regained possession. FC Kraja, on the other hand, leaned on their technical quality, controlling the tempo with composed passing and structured buildup play.

The first half was evenly matched, with both sides finding the net and heading into halftime tied 1–1.

In the second half, Kraja’s patience and technical precision began to take control of the game. The decisive moment came when Rayan Vukovic delivered a well-placed assist to Haris Velovic, who calmly finished for his second goal of the match, putting FC Kraja ahead 2–1. The play perfectly illustrated the theme of the afternoon—technical execution overcoming raw speed.

Hudson United pushed forward in the closing minutes searching for an equalizer, but Kraja’s defense stayed organized and resilient, securing the team’s second consecutive victory to start the season.
